YOUR NEXT RESULT … What’s Holding you back?

Procrastination … is a tough state to be in.
It’s the state of “stagnancy”, where NONE of your major core desires are being fulfilled,
because you are grappled with usually one of two things:
(1) Fear
(2) Laziness (poor habits)

So, What’s holding you back?

If it’s fear …then,
is it fear of not doing well, because you don’t feel as though you are properly equipped?

Or …
is it fear of handling the added reponsibilities that come with your next level of success or accomplishment?

Although fear and anxiety are very REAL Feelings…they come from “a pre-occupation with some future possibility” that has not yet occured.

In other words, we’re getting ourselves all worked up now, about something that has not yet happened, and may never happen the way that we imagine that events will unfold.

Let’s focus on the next result.

Let’s Talk About RESULT DRIVEN ACTIVITY !

1 – Daily Written Goal Statement, with a “due-date”.

Preparing a written statement of the next important goal(s), is a way of turning you idea into a physical manifestation.

2 – Speaking your Goal

Taking your wirtten goal for the day, and reciting it out-loud, is not only a way to remind yourself of what is important today,
but also helps you to gain the habit of “speaking your goal into existence” … TODAY!

3 – Preparation

One of the biggest impediments to feeling “worthy” of accomplishing your goals, is the “guilt” of not having prepared, by:

– doing the research (if necessary)
– gathering the right resources
– practicing the skillset
– building the right relationships

in other words,  DO THE INCREMENTAL STEPS !

4 – Getting one or more accountability partners … to “check-in and report” your progress.

5 – Commit to the timeline …
If it’s a daily goal … push yourself to show even a small result,  TODAY !

Laziness (Poor Habits)

Every day that we are allowed to wake up, begins a new battle against mediocrity and a push against TIME.

Make no mistake about it … we only get roughly 24 hours in any given day.
We cannot stretch more time out of the clock …
and we certainy can’t get any time “back”.

So, our entire day is divided into HUNDREDS of opportunities .. and HUNDREDS of “Decisions”.

What may be holding us back from our next “result”  …
is our “habit” of making decisions that propel us towards the goals we set.

When we look back on any given day .. we can connect-the-dots and see patterns of how we are using our time.

These are our habits.

The idea is to push forward, to rid ourselves of habits that do not DRIVE US towards a better version of our lives … each day.

The best way to to push forward, is … Take several small actions each hour.
AND … Learn to “qualify the smaller decisions that you make”, throughout the day!
