While the up-and-coming, who are still wrestling with bad-habits and personal demons are looking for a flaw in you, as a “excuse” for them to under-produce.
Which means that you have to do the same tasks, deliver the same message, live the same principles UNTIL the people that you are leading have seen YOUR positive performance long enough ….
that your ideas, words, actions become adopted as their guiding principles.
And the average person (including you) has so many voices inside of their heads asking them …
“is this really necessary”?
“do I have to do this ”
“do I want to do this, more than I want to just do enough to get by”?

At every turn, you have to fight back the voices inside of our head that say to you …
“if only I had such-and-such, the I could do better”.
Instead, you have to focus on the bigger objective of what you are seeking to build or accomplish, and attract all the necessary pieces and people to bring that positive outcome that you seek.
BELIEVE !!!
Belief … that is sharpened by acquiring, practicing, and refining new skills … is what you need most.
Believe and take the largest amount of consistent action that you can, with what you have at hand.
Consistency in the Right Actions …
Will Get You Noticed !!!
Consistency … is simply your conscious efforts bring your belief, words, and deeds into perfect alignment.
Consistency …or lack of it … will show others your “true colors”.
Two of the best ways to keep consistency is
(1) writing out your daily action plan, so that it is recorded and you can review it over time
(2) getting accountability partners … developing a regimen … and helping each other to stick to the regimen.
The best advice I could give you about leadership and consistency is …
You don’t have to build either one totally by yourself.
As a part of your “personal initiative”, make it a priority to either rally other “rising stars” around you, or attach yourself to a group of people in our industry that are go getters.
